PNGC Power Recognizes Outstanding Employee
Sergey Kozyarskiy, a four-year employee, plays effective finance role
Portland, Oregon - 10/19/2007 - Sergey Kozyarskiy has been named the sixth annual Paul M. Vickery Award recipient for Outstanding Professional Service by employer, PNGC Power. Kozyarskiy, a Financial Analyst, is responsible for power billing, transmission accounting, credit reporting and analysis on behalf of the cooperative’s 15 rural electric cooperative member-owners, who have service territory in seven western states. He also prepares various external regulatory and tax reports and is the accounting lead for Power Resources Cooperative, a companion business.
“Sergey is a very knowledgeable and dedicated employee with a can-do attitude,” said PNGC Power Chief Financial Officer, Jon Wissler. “He has been a rock through a recent Finance and Accounting department transition, able and anxious to assist and support newer members of the staff.”
A Vancouver, Washington resident, Kozyarskiy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Washington State University, Vancouver. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
The former employee for whom the award is named, Paul Vickery, lost his life in a car accident six years ago. This annual employee award is meant to honor his memory by recognizing an employee whose work in the previous year has strongly reflected a commitment to excellence, high professional standards and support for the overall success of the organization.
