PNGC Power Appoints Corwin VP Marketing and Public Affairs
Portland, Ore. - 05/28/2002 - PNGC Power, a Portland-based electric power services company, has promoted Scott Corwin to vice president of marketing and public affairs.

Corwin has been with PNGC Power since 1999 as manager of government affairs. In his new role he will be responsible for leading the company's public affairs, marketing, government relations and communications functions.

Before joining PNGC Power, Corwin was supervisor of government relations for Portland General Electric, worked as legal counsel for former Senator Mark O. Hatfield, staff to the U.S. Senate Appropriations Committee, and as staff to the Oregon Legislature. He holds a law degree from the University of Washington, and a bachelor's degree from Dartmouth College.

"Corwin brings a wealth of experience to this position," said Pat Reiten, PNGC Power's CEO. "His contributions to the company over the last two and a half years combined with his experience in Washington, D.C. have equipped him to successfully represent us with our many constituents."

Corwin's community involvement includes leadership positions with the March of Dimes, the Oregon Forum, and the Campaign for Equal Justice. He is a member of the Oregon and District of Columbia bar associations.
